Day 1 - The Commitment

So why is this thing called Apple & a V8?  I've come up with a new diet plan.  Before every meal I will eat and apple and drink a V8.  My theory is that will fill me up somewhat and put in the good nutrition I need and limit the amount of other food I consume.  We'll see how it goes.

So I'm 200 lbs.  That might not sound like a lot to some, or a lot to others, but I feel like I'm a big fat cow.  So I'm gonna make a commitment.  I am committed to getting back down to my fighting weight.  I have said I'm doing the Las Vegas Marathon in December and I need to be at least down to 175 or I'm gonna blow out my knees.  I was going to post a picture, but I decided in the spirit of good taste and decorum, I would only post my measurements.

Chest - 43.5"
Waist - 40"
Waist Sucking it in - 37"
Waist sticking it out - 43.5" (wow that's sad)
Hips - 43"

Man I've got some work to do.
